Bominaco, ein Ortsteil von Caporciano in den Abruzzen liegt auf etwa 1000 Meter in der italienischen Provinz L’Aquila. Um bessere Lebensbedingungen und Arbeit zu finden, wurde die Ortschaft, wie viele andere auch, von den Einwohnern verlassen. Jetzt sind nur ca. 60 Einwohner verblieben. Im Ort befindet sich noch eine Burgruine, die an wehrhafte Zeiten erinnert. Ein Besuch der mittelalterlichen Kirche "San Pellegrino", die eine komplette Ausmalung mit Fresken aufweist, ist jedem Besucher des Ortes zu empfehlen!

village, like many others, was abandoned by the inhabitants. Now only about 60 inhabitants remain. In the village is still a castle ruins, which reminds of fortified times. A visit to the
