Scanno ist ein Dorf mit 1822 Einwohnern in der Provinz von Aquila, in den Abruzzen. Es ist ein bekannter Sommer- und Winterferienort, kein Wunder, denn Scanno zählt zu den schönsten Dörfern Italiens.

Aber nicht nur Fotografen unf Naturliebhaber kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Für begeisterte Wintersportler sei angemerkt, dass die Skipisten vom Passo Godi und Monte Rotondo, das Hochland des Monte Greco ganz in der Nähe liegen.
