Die Salle-Brücke, über dem Fluss Orta, ist mit ihren 100 Metern die höchste in Mittelitalien. Im Herzen des Majella Parks gelegen, an der Straße zwischen San Tommaso (Ortsteil von Caramanico Terme) und Salle. Sie wurde in den frühen fünfziger Jahren gebaut. Gerade wegen ihrer Rekordhöhe ist sie jetzt ein beliebter Treffpunkt für Bungee-Jumping-Fans.

The Salle-Bridge, above the river Orta, is the highest in Central Italy with its 100 meters. In the heart of Majella Park, on the road between San Tommaso (district of Caramanico Terme) and Salle. It was built in the early fifties. Especially because of its record height it is now a popular meeting place for bungee jumping fans.

Il ponte di Salle, sul fiume Orta, è il più alto del centro Italia con i suoi 100 metri di altezza. Situato nel cuore del parco della Majella, sulla strada tra San Tommaso (frazione di Caramanico Terme) e Salle, fu costruito nei primi anni cinquanta. Proprio in virtù della sua altezza da record è oggi ambita meta degli appassionati di bungee jumping. I salti nel vuoto vengono gestiti dall’associazione Bungee Jumping d’Abruzzo che nel 2014 è riuscita, per prima, ad organizzare un evento dedicato a questo sport estremo proprio sul ponte di Salle.
